Its Merdeka ...




31st August marks the National Day of Malaysia, we were free from British colony since 1957. Hmm so by right we are celebrating our 51st year of freedom ..haha. I've never been so patriotic in my life before ! If i was back home in Malaysia, most likely you'll catch me watching the tv or even just sleeping soundly in my room. haha!


However, Merdeka this year is a lil different. There were 2 Merdeka events held in 2 clubs in the city of Melbourne.. One was held in Gravitti but i went to The Exchange Hotel's event. Being patriotic is an excuse or rather a cover up, we just want to go out and have some fun during the weekend :P

The wind was blowing so hard yesterday that i kept saying i need a guy, WITH A CAR to fetch me and my girls around,so we don;t have to run under the extreme wind that blows our nicely combed hair -_- . *joking though heehee, i don;t rush in getting guys wan :P *

Chocolate Night!




Samantha was here in Melbourne last weekend. As i haven;t seen her for the longest time, i told Zu Yi i will make itup for her no matter what..! So yeah, meet up was in Max Brenner, Melbourne Central. It was all about chocolate, i was looking at the menu for a long time, didn't know what to order. heh. But in the end, we ordered a waffle, and 3 hot chocolate :))



HELPians must be wondering, eh you both still friends ah. lol.. :P OH YES WE ARE. And who cares what happened in the past.. At least we are both happy with our lives now :D

HelllOooo! This entry will be specially dedicated to my little sister that is a few thousand miles away from me :D


I know its a little later here in Melbourne already, but we are Malaysians, we follow Malaysian time !!!!! So its still not too late to post up a birthday post for her, yet, i hope ! hahaha :D


So she was out for the whole day today, busy having fun i supposed, i can't even reach her through her cell. But its all okay, i guess she already knows her sister is the sweetest sister on earth,.. haha.. You know why! Go ask her, i lazy elaborate and self praise :P


To me, my family ALWAYS come first, including my sister of course. Therefore, regardless of what happens, I WILL and ALWAYS stand by my sister and give her my full support. I don't normally use the word hate, but if someone is going to hurt my sister, i swear i will hate him or her !


Also, i really thought my sister has all the good qualities, she's hot *freaking long legs, i jealous*, she's adorable, she's pretty, she's kind to all her friends, she's doing well in her studies *but i'm a little smarter though hohoho :P* .. She totally deserves to be treated well by others. Whoever that does not know how to appreciate her is their loss , too bad! All she needs is to be more confident about herself and stop thinking pessimisticly.. *haha, please change, everything's possible okay, nothing's impossible /gg*

By the way, Monash International Students Ball was held in Hilton On The Park Hotel, the ballroom was quite small, and there weren't a lot of performance other than magic show and more magic show. However, the atmosphere fit the theme Illusion though. Overall it was quite fun, despite the fact that i spilled champaigne on myself, damn "un-glam" -_-

So i haven't been blogging for a while. Sorry! Last weeek was a very very busy week for me,..! Apart from falling ill, there was also Monash International Students Ball to attend. It was like a massive event for me and the girls that we were soo looking forward to it! We even had pre-ball session to try out our hairstyle, make up etc. haha! Janice cooked us very very yummylicious chicken curry too. *slurps*


After class on Thursday, we headed to the city to get accessories, fake eye lashes, hair spray and the very important eye mask because we need to have beautiful eyes on the ball night itself heehe. My hot chiq also got her last minute dress from a boutique. HAHA! Man it was soo exhausting, but at least we had fun taking a lot of pictures during ball. They will be up soon ! As for now, i'm gonna show off my "report card" again :P


Dinner on Sunday was herbal chicken soup with "mee sua" cooked by mua :P... We had additional dish too, which is deep fried prawns prepared by Pei Wen and of course green vegetables that i can't live without. haha :D

MONASH IS SERIOUSLY MAKING PPL AGE FASTER.. I need to buy more face mask and eye mask !!!! Because with the amout of workload we have, i doubt i get to sleeep early every night :(

My Friday's Awesome.




Janice's brother and friend came to Melbourne for a visit, she decided to bring them to go berjalan-jalan, so we partied at Seven NightClub last night,,, Oh yes!!! An excuse for me to dress up :P

I wore a black dress, Chiffon material :) Decided to pin up my hair as i was a little bored with the usual hairstyle. hee..

And did eye make up as well. My eye shadows have been lying inside the make up bag for the longest time because i hardly even use them. *By the way, i use Stila ! :D*

I went over to Janice and Kat's apartment around 9 something to wait for them to get ready.. It was a disappointment Kat didn;t join us in the end though :( We later took the train and tram and arrived at Seven about 11 something maybe? The crowd was rather small at the beginning, probably due to the Olympic Opening Ceremony, i guess alot of people stayed at home to watch the live programme on tv, or perhaps gather in Federation Square as there was an Olympic event held there too.. But as later as it gets, the crowd expanded.

The guys ordered a Tequila shot for me and taught me the right way of drinking it. OMGGGnesss, it almost killed me for swallowing down the whole shot at once. Felt dizzy straight away and walked unbalancedly :S But after biting icecubes and lemons i felt okayy again :)

Some of the music played last night were those that i am very familiar with, so it was a blast, especially Will.I.am's "Heartbreaker" that reminded me of someone hahaha *you know who you are and i just remembered i haven't record ed the video YET !!!! XD*

Heeheee, Janice's bro bought me a Champaigne rose because i insisted i want. lol :P

Thursday Night..




Hie! Die la, i think Ming Kim is spreading his virus to me already, I fell asleep in lecture again today -_- , for about 15 minutes, and felt pretty refreshed later on, can take down notes some more.. haha! Classes ended much earlier than the scheduled time, so i decided to go Coles and do some grocery shopping. Bought the Apple Cider Vinegar as i was gonna experience a new dish for dinner i thought, 2 boxes of different types of mushrooms, corn as i was thinking of boiling corn soup, and urm some skin off chicken thigh in bulk, and a red chilli.


I wanted to take the tram home without validating :P, but in the end i decided to just walk because it is healthier. lol. However, walking home carrying 2 plastic bags plus files and a textbook is not fun at all, some more have to climb up the stairs. zzzz.

Oriental Style Spaghetti !


Ingredients needed:

Carrots cut into cubes, chicken thigh meat sliced, brown mushrooms, white mushrooms, oyster mushrooms, onions, garlic, chilli, water, soya sauce, pepper, sesame oil, corn flour, apple cider vinegar.

The process of cooking the gravy . heehee ..

And the outcome below!

The apple cider vinegar is a bonus ingredient in enhancing the taste of the gravy. As i added a little chilli too, the gravy tasted a little spicy and sour, like SzeChuan style hahaha .. Ming, sangat enak !!! :P

Then, i boiled corn soup too. I don;t have a chopper at home hence didn't get to cut the corn into smaller pieces.

But overall it still tasted pretty good, can compete with my grandma's soup hohoho :P

I also munced a Kinder Bueno after dinner, i know chocolate is fattening, but it makes me happy, So, don;t care! hahaha, faster made myself a cup of hot Jasmine tea after that as somehow i try to psycho myself that drinking tea can wash away the fats I consume, so yeahhhh ;) Apparently it is a fact though ! lol

Seing Wan bought the Ladies First magazine from Chinatown the other day and she lent it to me. Oh yesssss!!!!!! Can learn some beauty tips .. :D

Therefore, busy flipping through :P .. Ladies First is one of my favourite taiwanese beauty programme, I learnt lots from watching it heehee :)) Other than the programme, beauty magazines with the same title are also released like every month, very worth buying heehee :P

All right, i think i'm gonna stop here and grab some rest and watch some dramas. heh. The new hit lately is Moonlight Resonance, got our favourite Lam Fung, Bosco, Linda Chung, Yeung Yi etc.. Another drama about snatching property, niceeeee :D

HelloOo! I'm heading to Uni soon for the 9 o;clock night tutorial later -_-


Skipped the 6 o'clock lecture as i was busy finishing up my work. I'm finally done with MDA mini assignment, but sighs, there's another one coming up next week. After that, straight away move on to do the case study for International Marketing that is due later, and every week. These are the consequences you have to face for choosing marketing as a major. Very stressful ! :( I thought economics would be easier since it is supposingly my favourite field, but presentations are required for the both units i am taking this semester. RAAR. *I don;t think i can make it as i always i got public speaking barrier. haha. Will learn to overcome lol.*

Anyways i'm currently waiting for Seing Wan and his "lao gong's" call as i'll be dining together with them and then attend the late tutorial together-gether. heee. Feeling hungry already :S *I wonder what to eat later :P*

Since i've got nothing to do, that explains why i am here. hahaha :D

Its supposingly the third week , but my first week :D




HellooOoo!! So far classes went on pretty all right...Except i have lots of assignments due about the same time in September, they're gonna kill. Plus i have 2 presentations coming up huhuhu :S On another hand, after sending a few emails, begging, sweet talking and stuff, i finally secured a place in George's tutorial for Business in Asia :D Its economics okay, if i don;t get a good tutor, can die. I CANNOT don;t score in economics unit... *I sound kiasu, but its only when you're kiasu you'll work hard, i finally understand this philosophy from my brother hahaha :)*




Whoa, its almost 3.30 am here, but i've just finish my left over chicken kebab that i got it from the food court in QV this morning. I heat it up in the oven and it tasted GOOD, the aroma of the chicken kebab even got Pei Wen coming into my room just to tell me it smells good. LOL. Anyway, my point is, i cannot sleep straight after eating right, FATTENING... so i made myself a cup of green tea to wash away the oil, and let the food digest in my stomach for a longer period before i go to sleep. Since i;ve already turn down friends that asked me out tomorrow, i'll sleep late and wake up late tomorrow too. haha Oh and do my MDA mini assignment that is due on Thursday -_-




OH! As Friday is my free day, I don;t mind going out on Thursday night! hahaha. Actually MUISS organised a Multicultural Festival in Clayton last Thursday, Wei San, Tze Xian and I decided to go there and have a look.. We really just went there to have a look,lol.. As the weather was rather cold too, San called her friend Sam to fetch us for dinner. We went to this dumpling restaurant at Glen Waverley for dinner. After that, decided to camwhore in front of Pancake Parlour since i haven;t been taking pictures with San for a very very long time . hee :P

Despite the fact that i was already very exhausted, ...but because of dear Cheryl, i still made it up for her. AND I got a kiss from her as a reward. lol :P *damn lesbo*

We took the train to the city, and walked all the way towards Crown and settled for cakes at Greco.

They had lots of variety, i didn;t know how to choose. In the end, we picked 4 different pieces and share among the 5 of us. We were so bloated at the end of the day, and Ming looked like he was gonna puke anytime. lol.

AFTER.

AND TODAY,, i was damn semangat and woke up extra early to visit the temple. I told myself i have to go this time no matter what, hence i set the alarm to wake up at 7.30 am. But in the end i still woke up an hour later :P .. Nevermind, at least we still made a point to go. Tze Xian got all the directions to the temple from the internet, we managed to find the temple, it is situated along Queens Street. Was excited when we found it finally.. HOWEVER, apparently it is closed because they have something else going on, .. So disappointing :( Therefore, we walked around the city while waiting for San and Sam to come for dim sum.

Dim Sum was at Sharkfin House, Chinatown. The food was not bad at all, i haven;t had dim sum in a while, forgot to eat when i was back in Malaysia, forgot to eat Bah Kut Teh and as well as the new Spicy chicken Mcdelux from Mcdonalds too :( My brother still owe me Jogoya also, 2 years plus already laaa zzzzzzzz ...
